Baldwin Subaru Loves the Earth

Loving the environment means more than loving the great outdoors. It means working to preserve it

Since 2018, Subaru has partnered with TerraCycle.  Participating Subaru retailers collect hard-to-recycle trash that was headed to local landfills. We collect approximately 2 tons of this hard-to-recycle trash monthly, which will be converted to furnishings and other usable items and donated locally.

When you visit the Baldwin Subaru showroom, you will find TerraCycle zero-waste boxes that are intended for items such as snack wrappers, disposable cups and lids, coffee pods, and creamer capsules. Once collected, the waste is broken down and separated by material. Plastics are cleaned and pelletized, paper based waste and organic waste are composted and metals are melted down. TerraCycle will then have the collected waste turned into useful, high-quality recycled products, like park benches, picnic tables, and playground materials. These products are then donated to our local community!

NEW 2021 Service Lane Recycling Program!

This year Baldwin Subaru is going beyond wrappers and coffee pods to also recycle two new waste streams - Cabin Air Filters & Stretchy Plastics.
